The London production of The Black Rider was a
masterpiece. Directed and set by Robert Wilson
(http://www.robertwilson.com/) at the Barbican
Theatre and featuring Marianne Faithfull, it was the
most beautiful, eery and dramatic live production
I've ever witnessed. The band were simply
unbelievable, playing about 10 instruments each with
unremitting energy and drive they spent most of the
night either seating or grinning madly at each
other. The whole theatre left in silence at what
they'd seen. I went again the following week!

Damn good record as well.
