There is bound to be some pubs cashing in by having
some sort of Waits theme, cover band etc. Question
is: do we patronise this crass commercialism or create
our own atmosphere (eg take over an unsuspecting pub
of mild mannered accountants).
Me thinks it needs to be a fairly large pub. Who is
counting the hands?. Four or five of us on Saturday
night. Just me on Sunday night.
Maybe for those travelling from outside the
Netherlands it would be nice to experience some local
culture. Not that I have anything against the
universal international irish pub culture...
Any locals volunteering their place to cook up a
filipino box spring hog?
