My son is 13 and he is pretty much of a Tom Waits
fan. "Will he come back"? he asked me, after Tom had
played his last song on Sunday. And when Tom
sang "Don't cry for me cause I'm going away, but I'll
be back one day" he said to me: Nice lyrics dad.
At the show on Friday another dad was sitting next to
me, also with a son of 13. And besides, there are
people of 30 who look like 60, walking around in
suits and ties, thinking about stocks and shares, and
there are people Tom's age, who are still seventeen
in their minds. Young, Old, it's relative, at least
that is what I think. But I also saw quite some young
people, and beautiful young girls as well, I had the
pleasure to meet a number of them in the Red Baron ;-
))
