And how about Tom playing in Zwolle, my home town, in
1985, and after that in the Vredenburg, I didn't even
notice. Wonder where I was at that time. Studying in
Groningen, but why didn't I notice? Maybe I got to
know the man shortly after that. (I also missed the
show at the Concertgebouw, that will not happen to us
anymore will it? ;-)) - But indeed, 1976 is even more
special of course, the bar of Hotel Americain, a good
place to play his music ("Came here at eight, and I
played until two - I do my best to entertain you -
I'm your late night evening prostitute"), wish I'd
been there. Do you think Harry Mulisch was there?
