C'mon everybody, sing a long: "We shall not, we skall
not be trolled..."
It was fun reading through the list and trying to
fathom what the selection criteria might have been. I
don't know what surprised/shocked me more.. Well to
start on a positive note I am rushing out to buy
Boudewijn de Groot. World famous in the Netherlands.
The selection doesn't seem to have given any points
for ground breaking contribution, which is why Tom is
so under-represented, perhaps. How does Guns n Roses
score #121 for Knockin' on Heaven's door, while Dylan
only gets 264?. And so on...
But there is hope in sight: According to my
regression analysis based on the previous year's
scores in 20 years from now Tom Trauberts blues will
have risen to #29 and Bette Midler's The Rose will
have dropped to #31. Justice WILL be served.
