Yeah we were discussing his voice too.. it's very
androgynous - as is Nina Simone's voice.
I am a massive Rufus fan I have to admit. I think he's
a musical genius. My 19 yr old nephew phoned me from
uni the other night and said "Alli, I bought Rufus..
but I can't get it.. he's just too (long pause) GAY!"
Well, he is very camp.. no doubt.. and his songs are
sometimes really "showtune" but listen to his song Art
Teacher.. it's pure genius.
