Great ginsoaked! What a voice the guy has, really quite a unique
talent I think. The Johnsons were really serious musicians as well,
a couple of violins, a cello, an accordion as I remember along with
Antony on his grand piano and some other stuff (guitars I think,
can't fully remember). No drums at all. It was a great evening -
couple of great covers of Leonard Cohen's Our Guests and The
Velvet Underground's Candy Says - and Antony took the friendly
heckling of the Glasgow crowd in very good humour, seemed like
a really good guy. It was a pretty 'serious' type gig for a typical
Glasgow audience but they got a great reception. I ended up in a
whisky-assisted mess sometime afterwards, but that's another
story...
Hope your knee isn't giving you too much grief ginsoaked - take
good care of yourself and get well soon!
