Well, this year I am studying Humanities.. Art History
is just one part of it. You'll be pleased to hear that
in April I will be studying Rothko: The Seagram Murals.
So, I think a trip to the Tate Modern to see them is
in order. In November, time permitting, I am off to
the National Gallery in London to have a look, in
particular at Summertime by Jackson Pollock.
Other things I will be studying as part of the
Humanities are: Music in the 1960's (hooray!), Counter
movements in Science: The Copulation Explosion
(hooray!), Philosophy: Rousseau (will let you know
about that one later), Religion, Classical Music,
Euripedes Medea, Jean Rhys: Wide Sargasso Sea..
AND IT GOES ON AND ON AND ON....
I have to say that I am looking forward to every aspect
of it.. with maybe the exception of History. It's
about the French Revolution though... so maybe I will
call on Eric for some inspiration!
OK got to go to bed now.. it's one of those really late
nights again.
