I was first informed of A&TJ here too (Thanks to Eric).
Have the album and love it.. but the same thing.. one
moment I think it's fantastic and the next I feel it's
too depressing. Whatever it is, it's genius.

I first HEARD Anthony singing backing vocals on a Rufus
Wainwright track called Old Whore's Diet. I had not
yet seen any photos of Anthony and in my mind he was
black, tubby and extremely camp, sensibly and very well
dressed. You could have knocked me down with a feather
when I finally did see pictures of him.

Tom Waits? Well, I knew what Tom Waits looked like
right from the outset... the first time I heard him I
was listening to a cd while holding the case with his
pics on. His face fits perfectly to me. I like the
cut of his jib. :)
