Hi Stefan!
Great story!
It was different for me.
The trip was a bit too touristic for me, and although
I had paid for the whole package,the guide seemed to
be always trying to get money out of my purse.
So I was a bit cross in the evening.
BUT the day after I met him in the street and he
invited us for a big meal at his place and turned out
to be a very hearty creature, so it was a great
experience after all!
In fact I'm sure the tour operator made sure not to
tell him and us the same thing, thus putting the poor
guide in the position of a beggar, and since we had
paid before we were quite reluctant to pay more...
