On iTunes they have Los Lobos as 'Followers' of Tom
Waits...
Now I haven't heard much of their stuff, but Los
Lobos? Come on... they did La Bamba didn't they?
... and Randy Newman as an Influence! What's that
about!?!?!
They have Lou Reed and Patti Smith as Contemporaries,
which I guess is a bit better...
So, what else do all you guys listen to?
I think a fair amount of the 'feel' of Tom's songs is
also in stuff by the Eels, especially the weird freaks
that populate the stories...
