'Sea of Love' was written by George Khoury and
Phil Battiste. It was a hit in 1959 for Phil Phillips
and the Twilights (that's the record they play in the
movie). Del Shannon released it in 1982 and the
Honeydrippers (Robert Plant's little band on the side)
in 1985. And of course Tom Waits in 1989.
