I too have not posted before but do visit from time
to time. Tom Waits has always been the answer to
my "Who's the one artist living or dead you want to
see perform live but haven't" Well he's not the
answer anymore and after last night at Hammersmith I
don't think anyone will ever come close. You could
have heard a pin drop and every growl, cough and rawl
from the great man filled every inch of space.
A truly astonishing night. I couldn't speak for the
first 20minutes! Very emotional still today and
quietly bubbling at the rumours of a return in the
Spring.
I'm signed up to various Tom Waits email lists but if
anyone can tell where I'm likely to hear the news
first about any new dates in 2005 I'd be very
grateful.
