Independent production company Wise Buddah has expanded
the number of commissions it has successfully secured
from BBC Radio in the New Year.
The indie, headed up by broadcaster Mark Goodier, is
working on seven new commissions from BBC Radio 2 and
the World Service, ranging from documentaries on some
of the world's biggest artists, to specials on popular
culture around the world, including the music scene in
China and the history of the soap opera.
Tom Waits and Coldplay will be the subject of
documentary specials for BBC Radio 2, while Elton John
will be the subject of a three-part series.
