I know ye have done this before but just to get me
back into posting again what about the best cover
versions you have heard.
For me
Juliet Turner "I hope that I don't fall in love....."
Diane (a?) Krall " Temptation" Brilliant. I have a
candlelit story to tell later.
Springsteen's "Jersey Girl" because it is a great way
to answer those who have not heard of the bould Tom .
They are usually surprised to hear it was The Man who
wrote it.
And Non-Tom ---
Sinead O'Connor - "Nothing Compares 2 U" PRince
Fugees - "Killing me softly" Dionne Warwick (I think)
UB40 "Red ReD Wine" cover of Tony Tribes cover of Neil
Diamond's Original . I saw Neil Diamond live do a
version of UB 40's versiona
