How did you get on....? I tried for an hour and twenty
minutes..no luck despite hitting redial every 3
seconds. Funny how E-bay was full of tickets at 300
quid a pair not 2 hours later. The touts are making
more money from this than Mr Waits. But hey..at least
the people who really deserve to be there have won
out....the record industry pricks and the geeks who go
to anything and everything (free Nelson Mandela, We
will rock you, duran reunion, U2, Madonna,- and they
got all the programs and T-shirts as proof). The
remaining 400 tickets were there for the little people
to fight over..this gig did not sell out in half an
hour...the major part of the tickets were allocated
well in advance. I dont care who it is, nobody's worth
the money that's being asked. It dont matter how
important tom waits is to me or you, the real people
wont be there to see him. If that's ok by him...well
gee thanks. Does this relationship seem a little one
sided to you ? Maybe I's just got the asshole at bein'
a workin' man, an' unable raise the collat'rall.
