What follows is a very long shot but I managed to get
a single ticket 4 days ago (10 Oct) by using this
technique.

It is based on 2 facts

1) a great many tickets were issued free to music biz
types who have subsequently informed the Carre that
they won't be attending

2) the payment processing at Carre is a nightmare and
based on recent conversations has not even been 100%
completed yet. This means that if any credit card
orders taken on the 2nd are rejected during
processing the tickets will automatically become
available on Carre's internal systems

The booking system used internally at the theatre has
a live link to their webserver. This means that
whenever a ticket becomes available on Carre computer
systems it ALSO becomes available via the online
booking system. The problem is, of course, that
there is no way to access the Theatre Carre box
office system via the web. The website just tells you
its sold out and doesn't provide a link. Except...

The following URL will give you a shortcut to the
relevent area of the booking system and will allow
you to select any of the 3 dates. This will then
perform a database check and will let you know if any
tickets are available for the selected date.

HERE'S THE URL:

https://secure.aub.nl/carre/index.cfm?ACTION=stap%
5F0&kop=2411&maxkaarten=12&prod=145&loc=0&vst=

(you may have to cut and paste both lines
separately 'cause this forum splits long lines)

I have been trying this numerous times every day
since the tickets sold out and have received a
message with tickets available 3 times. Twice the
tickets then disappeared before I could order
(presumably they were sold or taken by box office
staff) and once I managed to purchase a single seat
for the Sunday night. I received a proper
confirmation email and the payment actually showed on
my card statement today so I'm pretty sure the
booking has been confirmed although I won't rest
until that piece of paper is in my hands!

It may be of interest to note that it all three
successful responses occured just after 11am.
Perhaps this is when the Carre staff update the
tickets database?

Sharing this information to prevent these bloody
tickets dominating my life for the next 5 weeks!

What a fucking great album!
