I don't know what your best language is, but I'll try
to tell in a few words what some people wrote in Dutch.
First of all there is some anger about what we
call "BV's"(Famous Flemish people) who where there and
didn't know any of the songs. I agree...
Then there are some who obviously found Waits playing
as if it was against his will (is it said like that in
English). And it's also said that he was better in Den
Haag 5 years ago. I don't know, I wasn't there. OK,
there weren't a lot of the 'softer' songs, and there
was no piano. But what the heck!
Bourla was my first Waits-experience, and I had a
wonderful time! Listening to the applause, I think I
wasn't alone: we got 2 encores, but I think most of
the people would have liked more :)
Besides Waits I think Ribot absolutely deserves being
