Friday Amsterdam, 8pm start shown. 8:30pm people
still being shown to their seats; 8:40pm feet being
stomped and shortly after the lights went down and the
show began.

If you get there at 7pm you'll probably be queuing.
But it all depends on the logistics of how they check
the tickets, bags etc etc. Don't risk it...
