I find that I learn a lot at both forums.. it's nice to
have another option (don't keep all your eggs in one
basket we say here). I love this forum because of you
people I meet here really as much as the information I
get but I find I can talk about many different things
over there. For instance, this forum is supposed to be
ONLY about Tom Waits.. the other forum is dedicated to
Tom Waits (so that is the main reason why people use
it) but you are able to talk about other musical ideas,
thoughts etc. And then there is a section which is
just available to talk about anything at all. The
people there all seem nice, outspoken (in the best
way), fun and intelligent.
So, I wouldn't abandon either forum because I find the
two forums compliment each other nicely. I have
plugged this forum over there and plugged that forum here!
