Hey guys.
Eric, your worklife sounds a bit crazy at the moment, and not in a
good way. If it's any consolation, my whole weekend was spent
marking essays and I ended up having to stay up all night last
night to get them finished in time for today's deadline. Thought
the days of pulling allnighters were behind me, but no. Looking
forward to getting to my bed! Life can be stressful sometimes, but
I don't believe for a minute you don't have anything interesting to
say: your head's just too full of worries just now to see the sparkle
- but it'll still be there (waiting for an opportune moment to pop
up and delight us). Just don't let the briars strangle you down!
I got hold of Fishing with John on DVD - maybe told you - so am
looking forward to getting the chance to watch it. My kingdom for
a multi-region DVD player! Or a Peugeot, as the case may be. One
thing about having dogs: you lose your pride about stuff like that.
Our car is a hairy dogmobile that you need overalls to sit in.
Noticed when topping up the radiator that it says 'Made in West
Germany' - that's an indication of how modern it is. Also, on the
dog thing, patterned fabrics suddenly become very appealing and
black velvet a thing beyond reach. Unfortunately I have a corduroy
fetish. Now a hairy corduroy fetish. Hairy cords are the new black
(velvet). Marco, hope you get your car. Eric, hope you get a break.
Everyone else, hello and hope all's well.
