This is all so bad.
I was one of the lucky ones. I started ringing both
Ticketmaster and Stargreen at 8.55 on my mobile
(alternating between the two) while at the same time
trying the ticketmaster website.
The website was always too busy and the phone lines
were permanently engaged.
At about 9.45 I got through on the website and after
a lot of messing about trying different seating areas
and changing my order from 4 tickets to 2 tickets I
managed to get two seats half way back of the dress
circle.
I phoned my friend and he had just managed to get
tickets in the same area at exactly the same time.
We both tried again because we were supposed to be
buying for a couple of other people but it wouldn't
work and then it sold out on the website.
How can they sell out a 3500 capacity venue in an
hour when you can't get through to place an order?
I feel well bad for everyone that didn't get tickets.
Something isn't right about all this.
