Hi Harry,
sorry, but I had to go to bed at some point :) I
havent much time now but all I can say is it was an
amazing show. It was my first (and only on this tour :
( )Waits show so I might be a little biased but he
seemed to be really into it last night, giving every
song all he had. He seemed to have a particularly
strong feeling for the Blood Money tracks, esp. Gods
Away which he barked out in all imaginable savagery
and All the World which had me on the edge of sobbing.
Also the real Gone songs really came to life (Top of
the Hill, Hoist and Shake It deserve an honorable
mention). And of course, the piano songs. Pure beaty
all of them. The end was a little anti-climactic (not
the strongest Jockey I've heard) but who cares? I
certainly dont. Have fun in Amsterdam!
