Yeah, it was great to see the piano being (literally)
wheeled out for the encores, because where i was
sitting i couldn't see it during the regular set.I
agree that the Real Gone material really came to life,
but i would have liked one or two earlier songs in the
interests of nostalgia( that's my problem, not
Tom's!).The Blood Money material was the highlight in
my opinion, when he switched from guitar on to the
portable organ.Another thing i noticed was that he
doesn't spend too much time talking directly to the
audience anymore. That's ok too, cos it means more
music.( An exception was Tabletop Joe,which had the
balcony and stalls competing against each other for
loudest singers!) The show was about 2 hours and a
bit.Another thing...the band were immense,
particularly the percussionist. I'll have a better
view tonight, i'm in row 7! You're all in for a treat
believe me.
