Great idea to invite The Man along to Zeedijk for an
alcohol-free beer. I've been impersonating Tom on this
tour(a poor imitation of the real gone thing but good
fun )just as a little joke,singing his material with a
guitar in each city and outside the venue in Antwerp(
where i had no ticket).The woman at the Bourla back
entrance mistook me for one of the band( probably cos
i had a guitar case) and buzzed me into the building.
Unfortunately a security guard saw the situation and i
couldn't get in. Later in the day the same security
guard told me there would be "big trouble" if i didnt
take me and my guitar away from the venue. I didnt
want to argue...he was twice my size! The most
annoying thing was that at midday i went across the
road to Terry's Bar for a pint and less than a minute
later, Tom and family went in the back entrance. If
only i had waited a bit longer instead of being
thirsty!!
