Not so strange but more a warning that people either
didn't get, just thought it was a joke or paid no
atention to. In 'dam on Saturday, when he was on the
piano, the camera flashing went wild. Stewards came to
front rows to ask people to stop with the photos. Tom
said, 'sorry folks but it's got to be said' (which I
took as meaning what the steward had been saying)He
went on 'one thing that pisses me off is folk coming
up to me saying, Mr Waits, my phone is really a camera
to which I reply, and my watch is really a rifle!!
That's generally enough to get them to back off'
Unfortunately, the camera flashing continued - and as
someone else said, might be why he ended when he did??
And anyway, how did they get the cameras in? Was I
just unlucky getting searched?? Am I just jealous :)
