I believe Gavin Bryars made this record without Tom
initially.

Tom had the record and loved it so much he played it
too much and ruined it. Tom wrote Gavin asking him if
he could help him locate a new copy for him.
By that point the LP was out of print and sold out.
That is when the idea came to re record onto CD with
Tom singing on it.

Also, I came across in a flea market in Shepherds Bush
a few years ago a CD single taken from that CD with an
edited version (around 4 mins in length).
