Hello Alli, in Holland we have (had) one true Rock 'n
Roller, who was also a bit of a junkie, too much
drugs, too much booze. Anyway, in a documentatory on
him he is talking to some junkies whom he knew quite
well, living the life that he did. And he said
something like "Well, things can always be worse than
being a junkie." (I think in the documentary they
were standing in front of a banking building). To
explain his point, he pointed to the building and
said: "Imagine that you would be working in a bank!
from nine to five". To him, it seemed that one would
be far worse off working in a bank, compared to being
a junkie. I liked that short part in the documentary
and had to think of it while reading your posting
about uniforms and banks.
