I had a weird dream last night. Myself and Mrs
Ginsoaked were going to see Tom, and this time we had
tickets. OUr seats were at the back of the upper tier,
not a great view. However, when the man came out (no
band) the stage rose up to the upper tier, it was a set
like a bar, and he started talking to the audience.
After a while, I went down the stairs to the loo. The
stage was back down to the stalls level now. I spotted
a few empty seats near the stage, so brought the missus
down.

We sat a couple of rows back, because the front row was
not a good view. TW spent more ime talking than
singing, but gave us some props from the set, mostly
beer mats and some kind of books or leaflets.

Now while this is going on, some bloke in the same row,
a few seats away, has an ostrich which keeps sneaking
out it's neck to nip us. We don't really see the
ostrich body, but it's neck keeps reaching out to nip
us. Not sore or friightening, but just very irritating.

Anyway next thing, we are up on the stage after the
show, and Tom is in bed, lying as if he were dead or
passed out. I ring for an ambulance , but he opens his
eyes and laughs at us so I put the phone down. Then he
gets up and I thank him for all the years of wonderful
music that has accompanied my growing up, and as we say
our goodbyes, he thanks us for listen ing to him and
having an interest in his work, and he says to me ,
"Remember, Be Confident" and the dream kind of fades out.

There was a bit more, but it was a very long cream, and
so vivid and real that it has played on my mind all day.

Any therapists among ye going to give me a bit of free
analysis?

Or maybe just take the p!ss.

And there were no shoes in the dream.
