Nice - thanks Eric, you are having a beautifully poetic week. I like
weeks like that. Alice, the song, for me is perfect, or as close to
perfect as you can get. But of late I have been finding that Green
Grass is perfect too - I think it's one of the best songs Tom has
written, beautiful. Scotland not a bad place to be set adrift,
though there's wind and rain obscuring the eternal sunshine at
the moment. I like the strange weather, it's nice and
unpredictable. My head is in France today Eric, funnily enough -
am reading Diderot's The Nun (though unfortunately only in
translation, can't speak French at all, more's the pity). Hello to
