I know! I used to play the double bass at school as a young
teenager and hated it!!! Thought it was the most uncool, useless
instrument, and of course could never take it home to practice
because it was too big and eventually packed it in. How much do I
regret that now! My mum used to really want to get me piano
lessons too and I just outright refused, was a wee tomboy and
was mortified enough at having to go to ballet classes. Oh gawd.
Regrets? I've had a few.
(but then again...
too few to mention...)
