To be honest Marco, I really doubt if Santa Claus has
anything to do with Saint-Nicolas, but the time
failed me to investigate into this, but I was indeed
planning to check up on this. They Santa and Sint-
Nicolas look like quite different types to me, but on
the other hand they do both have a red robe and a
white beard, as Belzebuth pointed out. Yet I never
made a connection between the two. Thanks therefore
for your background searching Marco ;-) - I will have
a look there. On the other hand Johnny Schellenbaum
did not write that Santa would be older did he, he
only writes that Santa is a secular version of the
Catholic old man. Anyway, time still fails me to
check, have a deadline to make...
