Hi Gin,
listere@hotmail.com is my address. Had no idea it was the
Gallipoli anniversary until a day or so ago, so just a coincidence.
Guinness and Lucozade - wow. I've had tia maria and coke with
some guinness in it, which was actually surprisingly nice. Used to
work behind a bar and one of the regulars always drank that and I
got curious so tried it. Having said that, unadulterated guinness is
always best, but the stuff you get here in Glasgow is not a patch
on that in Ireland. Nicest guinness I've had in Glasgow was at a
Shane MacGowan gig at the old fruitmarket - reckon they must
have brought it over. Ok, so best pint of guinness ever (everyone)?
In a hockey club in Cork. Second best: the Fiddlers in Sligo.
Mmmm. Bit early in the day for a guinness hankering! I've got
classes to go and teach...
Bye for now, Emma.
p.s. haven't heard anything whatsoever about a possible Tom
Waits gig this year :-(
pps. Glasgow weather back to normal. Chucking it down outside -
dreich as we would say. That pretty much sums it up.
